Things that catch your attention on the street

I saw a couple of poor seniors begging for money on the streets. It is sad to see them. There are exceptions, but most often they are people with mental or physical issues who didn’t find the resources to bounce back in life. Most of us people who have a hard time from time to time have a family or friends to help them out. They are the unlucky ones. Some people call them lazy. Maybe some are. A good education from one’s youth sets one’s life drive. But those people probably didn’t get a good education to begin with. So in a way the society is also responsible for their fate. Quite unintendedly, they serve a purpose towards society, as a visible example of what one doesn’t want to become.

My favorite piece of tech

I’ll be really basic, but it's the truth. The computer. Also, with Internet. I’m always curious, and I use the computer most of the times. I love to find new apps and entertainment websites, as I love to watch series from countries I can't find on TV channels. But the main reason is: writing. Nowadays, even if I have a class, I’ll bring my laptop. It's quick and it becomes more organised. But I also use it to write my stories, and I love it. I tried to be old school and use writing machines a few times before… ofc it didn't work. A computer is heaven for me on that aspect. I never get bored with it.

Why did i choose my study program?

I decided to study public administration because since i was a child i felt a strong interest in politics, in part because i came from a very political family, where political discussions were always present. Personally, i think politics are a the most important aspect of society, because the political decisions affects people's daily life in every single aspect.  There are many reasons for me to study public administration, yet the biggest one is the ability to make a difference in my own community. The decisions a public administrator makes help transforms his or her own town (or perhaps, even country) into a better and more pleasant place to live. The issues dealt with are sometimes challenging and complex, taking many years to solve. However, if they are successful, a sense of personal pride can be maintained as a difference is truly being made.

My Autobiography

I was born in August 7, 1996 in a small town called Castro, placed on Chiloé Island in the south of Chile. Grow up in a lower middle class family, as the son of a primary school teacher and a housewife. I went to a public highschool in my hometown, then i decided to pursue a degree in public administation, for what i moved to Santiago and entered to Univesidad de Chile, where i study today.   Some of my hobbies and interests are movies, music, books, cats and tv series.
